Artist Educator Kathy 'Fleen' Doran took her group in a workshop creating and experimenting with ceramics with some excellent and exciting results, developing confidence with appropriate test pieces, progressing to more challenging pieces which the student were all very happy with, far exceeding their own expectations of themselves.

There was a lot of experimentation with different taught techniques and "it was great to see the kids experiencing working with a practising artist and actually spending a decent length of time exploring new media and techniques"

In March 2019 Cantref Primary School in Abergavenny did a two part clay tile workshop designed and produced with Erica Pinney.

Entitled 'What happened to women when the men were away at war' it involved the creating, colouring and firing of tiles to commemorate such organisations as the Womens Land Army.
